We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established global manufacturing business based in Bootle for a Customer Service Account Manager to join their supportive and fast-paced team. This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody who enjoys building strong customer relationships, taking ownership of accounts, and working in a varied role where no two days are the same. The successful candidate will work closely with both customers and internal departments to ensure a smooth customer journey from order placement through to delivery and aftercare, playing a key role in maintaining high service standards and long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing a portfolio of B2B customer accounts
- Building strong relationships with customers and acting as a key point of contact
- Processing orders, arranging deliveries and handling billing queries
- Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner
- Liaising with operations and transport teams to ensure smooth service delivery
- Resolving customer queries and complaints efficiently and professionally
- Identifying opportunities to upsell products and services where appropriate
- Maintaining accurate customer records, logs and account information
- Supporting the wider team in delivering an excellent customer experience
- Experience within account management or B2B customer service
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Highly organised with excellent time management and attention to detail
- Able to work independently whilst also contributing positively within a team environment
- An understanding of Oracle would be ideal but isn’t essential
