- I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a growing business for an experienced
- HR Advisor to join their HR team on an initial
3-month contract , with a strong possibility of extension or a permanent opportunity.
This is a broad generalist role where you'll support managers across the business with employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, absence management, HR administration and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HR advice and support to managers on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes, including BS7858 screening and pre-employment checks.
- Deliver inductions and ensure a positive onboarding experience for new starters.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR systems and documentation.
- Support TUPE activities, consultations and employee communications.
- Work closely with Payroll to ensure employee changes are processed accurately.
- Draft contracts, letters and HR correspondence.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, HR projects and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
About You
- Previous experience in an HR Advisor or similar generalist HR role.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Experience handling employee relations cases.
- Recruitment and onboarding experience.
- Knowledge of BS7858 screening and vetting processes.
- Experience supporting TUPE processes.
- Strong administration and organisational skills.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business.
