The Opportunity

We are exclusively partnering with a well-established UK business to recruit an experienced Head of Account Management.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a key leadership role responsible for driving commercial performance, customer retention, revenue forecasting and team development.

This is far more than a traditional account management position.

We are looking for a commercially driven leader who can take ownership of performance, develop a high-performing team, strengthen customer engagement and drive business growth.

  • Support pricing strategies, commercial reviews and contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Account Management function.
  • Conduct regular account reviews, forecasting meetings and performance discussions.
  • Manage strategic customer relationships and support account growth.
  • Develop customer retention and commercial growth strategies.
  • Monitor performance trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer outcomes.
  • Support commercial negotiations and customer reviews.

About You

  • Proven leadership experience within Account Management, Client Services, Sales or Commercial functions.
  • Strong forecasting capability and commercial awareness.
  • Track record of driving customer growth and retention.
  • Experience developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, resilient and results focused.

Experience within print, packaging, manufacturing, fulfilment or a similar complex B2B environment would be advantageous.

However, exceptional candidates from other sectors will also be considered.
