With over 30 years of heritage and a £15.5m turnover, we design, manufacture, and install high-quality temporary and semi-permanent modular structures for everything from major sports environments and film productions to massive industrial warehousing.

We are looking for a driven, commercially astute Area Sales Manager to take ownership of our Central and Western UK territory.

The Opportunity:

  • High Value, Low Friction Inbound Pipeline: 100% of your new business leads are supplied, pre-qualified, and vetted by our active internal marketing team.
  • The Split: 80% New Business Conversion / 20% Account Management.
  • Significant Deal Sizes: Typical orders range from £250k (small) to £500k (medium), reaching up to £1m+ for larger bespoke structures.
  • Territory: The left side of the UK (from the M1 corridor) up to and including Wales and Scotland, focused around major cities.

What Your Week Will Look Like:

  • Autonomy: Complete control over your own diary and movements.
  • Field Activity: 3–4 client site visits per week initially, scaling to 5–8 visits post-onboarding.
  • Collaboration: 1 day a week in the office collaborating with fellow Field Sales Managers and the marketing team.
  • Full Support: You are backed by internal structural designers, specification experts, purchasing teams, and technical surveyors to make your quotation process seamless.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Convert high-volume inbound enquiries into loyal, long-term commercial accounts.
  • Conduct site visits to take detailed technical notes, photos, and project videos.
  • Manage your own sales pipeline, producing accurate quotes and competitive tenders.
  • Ensure effective pricing that balances client needs with strong sales margins.
  • Deliver an exceptional, premium customer experience from initial concept to project delivery handover.
