Are you a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician looking for your next challenge? Our client, a leading manufacturing business based in Wrexham, is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join their Maintenance team.

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Engineering Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of plant and machinery. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Diagnosing and repairing faults across medium to heavy industrial machinery.
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
  • Implementing engineering modifications to improve equipment reliability.
  • Collaborating with both the maintenance and manufacturing teams.
  • Adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.
  • Operating lifting and handling equipment safely and correctly.
  • Working to a continuous shift pattern, with overtime as required to cover absences.

What we are looking for in the successful candidate:

  • Time-served with EITB/equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Strong skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, brazing, and rigging.
  • Experience with high-pressure steam systems and safety-focused maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office or equivalent software.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with a strong team spirit.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • 2 week shift pattern
  • Week one - 7am-4pm Mon to Thurs, 7am - 1.30pm Fri
  • Week Two - 1.30pm - 10pm Mon to Fri
