We are currently looking for experienced Electrical Controls Engineer. The role will involve a mixture of design, commissioning, and electrical engineering support.
- Amendments and updates to electrical drawings in CAD
- Commissioning of ABB drives and motors
- Electrical design experience
- Electrical panel design knowledge
- Previous experience within industrial automation / electrical engineering environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and practical engineering approach
- Immediate availability advantageous
- HNC / HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering, or similar
- Relevant industry experience in industrial electrical or automation environments
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or similar CAD software
- Experience commissioning ABB drives and motors
- Knowledge of Pilz safety systems and machine safety standards
- Experience with electrical design and control panel design
- Understanding of industrial control systems, PLCs, and electrical schematics
- Controls & automation background
- Site commissioning experience
- Experience with industrial machinery or manufacturing system
- Minimum 1 month contract
- Negotiable Day Rate
