Working on behalf of our client based on Isle of Grain. We are currently recruiting for a C&I Technician on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with a strong background in control and instrumentation within an industrial or process environment.

Key Duties:

  • Carry out fault finding and rectification on electrical equipment
  • Perform breakdown repairs and reactive maintenance
  • Provide instrumentation support across site operations
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot control and instrumentation issues
  • Conduct calibration and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems in line with procedures
  • Complete both planned and reactive maintenance activities
  • Work on a range of industrial/process equipment including boilers, turbines, switchgear, VFDs, pumps, motors, drives, conveyors, and control systems
  • Liaise effectively with internal teams and external contractors
  • Support technical input for proposals and tenders where required

What we are looking for in the successful candidate:

  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • Time-served apprenticeship with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
  • HNC/HND (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline
  • 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
  • Inspection & Testing (2391) certification
  • CompEx certification (EX01–EX04)
  • Good IT skills
  • Strong team player with the ability to meet deadlines and communicate progress effectively
