Working on behalf of our client based on a site in Wrexham, we are currently recruiting an M&E Site Manager with a strong mechanical bias for a high-profile commercial building services project. As the M&E Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all mechanical aspects of M&E installations on-site, including HVAC, plumbing, ductwork, and pipework. The ideal candidate will be proactive, technically strong, and confident leading teams and coordinating with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee mechanical installations on commercial M&E projects.
  • Manage site teams and subcontractors to ensure high standards and compliance.
  • Interpret and work from detailed M&E drawings and specifications.
  • Ensure works are completed safely, on time, and to budget.
  • Conduct quality inspections and manage snagging processes.
  • Liaise with project managers, design consultants, and client representatives regularly.
  • Maintain up-to-date site records, progress reports, and workforce data.
  • Be willing to take a hands-on approach where needed to support delivery.
What we are looking for in the successful candidate:
  • Proven experience as an M&E Site Manager or Mechanical Site Supervisor within the commercial construction sector.
  • Strong mechanical background with hands-on capability.
  • Confident in leading site teams and coordinating multiple trades.
  • Excellent understanding of building services coordination and commissioning.
  • SMSTS or SSSTS.
  • CSCS black card.
  • First Aid at Work.
