Working on behalf of our client based on Isle of Grain. We are currently recruiting for a C&I Technician on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with a strong background in control and instrumentation within an industrial or process environment.
Key Duties:
- Carry out fault finding and rectification on electrical equipment
- Perform breakdown repairs and reactive maintenance
- Provide instrumentation support across site operations
- Diagnose and troubleshoot control and instrumentation issues
- Conduct calibration and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems in line with procedures
- Complete both planned and reactive maintenance activities
- Work on a range of industrial/process equipment including boilers, turbines, switchgear, VFDs, pumps, motors, drives, conveyors, and control systems
- Liaise effectively with internal teams and external contractors
- Support technical input for proposals and tenders where required
What we are looking for in the successful candidate:
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Time-served apprenticeship with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
- HNC/HND (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline
- 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
- Inspection & Testing (2391) certification
- CompEx certification (EX01–EX04)
- Good IT skills
- Strong team player with the ability to meet deadlines and communicate progress effectively
