Fusion Welder / HDPE Pipe Fitter

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading civil engineering contractor working within the water industry. They are seeking an experienced Fusion Welder with a valid 450mm+ butt fusion ticket to support on a project in Hinckley, Leicestershire.

Key Duties:

• Carry out butt fusion welding on PE pipes 450mm and above to industry standards.
• Operate fusion welding machines and ensure safe, clean, and high-quality joints.
• Work closely with site supervisors and engineers to ensure efficient and compliant installation.
• Follow all site health and safety procedures and environmental policies.
• Maintain accurate records of welds and testing as required.

What we are looking for in the successful candidate:

• Valid EUSR Fusion Welding Certification (450mm+)
• Proven experience working on large-diameter PE pipe installations
• Familiarity with water utility standards and industry best practices
• CSCS Card
• EUSR Water Hygiene (advantageous)

What our client can offer in return:

• 1 month project
• 7:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday
• £25 per hour
