Working on behalf of our client, an Electrical Engineering firm, we are looking for an Electrical Estimator to join their team on a permanent basis.

Key Duties:

  • Deliver estimates and quotations to meet clients' expectations promptly.
  • Provide monthly reporting to update the company on contract status.
  • Manage the tender-to-mobilization process, setting budgets and timelines.
  • Handle monthly billing and invoicing.
  • Resolve disputes effectively.
  • Develop robust and profitable tenders using staff input and historical data to inform pricing.
  • Manage project changes effectively through Compensation Events (CEs).
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the existing customer base, fostering key relationships to grow the business.

What we are looking for in the successful candidate:

  • Knowledge of LV electrical systems including, power distribution, signal / communication and network architecture, MCC manufacturing and Control Systems
  • Experience in the Water or Process industries (Desirable)
  • Willingness to travel to sites throughout Hampshire, Sussex and Kent
  • Ideally qualified to HNC / HND level or higher.
  • Experience with NEC3 / 4 Contracts.
