Working on behalf of a well‑established, highly respected construction organisation with a strong portfolio of industrial and commercial projects across the North‑West and Midlands. Due to continued growth and an expanding project pipeline, they are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their senior team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute construction professional who thrives on overseeing multiple projects, driving performance, and maintaining outstanding client relationships. The role offers long‑term stability, high responsibility, and the chance to make a real impact within a quality‑focused business.

The Role

As Contracts Manager, you will take full responsibility for the delivery of multiple projects from pre‑construction through to completion. You’ll work closely with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure all projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to an exceptional standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee contract administration, commercial management, and project delivery.
  • Manage project programmes, costs, procurement, and supply‑chain coordination.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Monitor progress, compliance, risk, and quality across all live projects.
  • Lead and support site and project teams to ensure consistent standards and performance.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and commercial gains.

What we are looking for in the successful candidate

  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager (or equivalent senior construction role).
  • Strong commercial and contractual understanding across industrial or commercial projects.
  • Effective communicator, able to influence, negotiate, and maintain strong relationships.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple live jobs simultaneously.
  • Problem‑solver with a proactive approach to delivery and planning.
  • Full UK driving licence required.
