We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing multi-disciplinary engineering and construction contractor for an experienced Civils Project Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineering professional to take responsibility for the successful delivery of a range of civil engineering projects, working closely with clients, subcontractors, site teams and internal departments.
The successful candidate will ideally have a strong background in civil engineering project delivery, alongside some estimating/commercial experience.
You will be comfortable managing projects from initial enquiry and pricing through to delivery and completion.
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys being involved in both the commercial and operational aspects of civil engineering projects.
Key
Responsibilities: Manage civil engineering projects from initial enquiry and estimating through to completion.
Take overall responsibility for project delivery, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
Prepare, review and contribute to project estimates, tenders, quotations and budgets.
Review specifications, drawings, scopes of work and client requirements.
Develop project programmes, resource plans and delivery strategies.
Manage project costs, budgets, variations and commercial performance.
Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate site teams, labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management and clients.
Identify and manage project risks, opportunities and potential commercial issues.
