Working on behalf of our client based on a site in Broughton. We are currently recruiting for a Construction Health and Safety Advisor for a 6 month project. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile site, supporting site management teams and ensuring health & safety standards are consistently met across all activities.
Key Duties:
- Provide day-to-day health & safety support to site managers
- Ensure all RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements) and site documentation are in place and compliant
- Monitor site activities and proactively identify risks
- Challenge and stop works where safety standards are not being met
- Engage with subcontractors to ensure full compliance with site procedures and regulations
What we are looking for in the successful candidate:
- Relevant health & safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a construction H&S advisory role
- Strong personality with the confidence to challenge site teams and subcontractors when required
- Practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
