Working on behalf of our client based on a site in Barry. We are currently recruiting for a Site Manager for a long-term fire remediation project.
Scope of Works
The project includes fire safety remediation works such as compartmentation, fire stopping, cladding remediation, and associated upgrades within occupied and non-occupied buildings.
Key Duties
- Managing day-to-day site operations and fire remediation works
- Supervising site teams and coordinating subcontractors
- Overseeing fire stopping, compartmentation, cladding remediation, and upgrade works
- Ensuring health & safety standards are met at all times
- Coordinating with Contracts Managers, SHEQ teams, and clients
- Maintaining project timelines and quality standards
- Producing site reports, progress updates, and RAMS
- Leading toolbox talks and ensuring compliance with current fire safety regulations
What We Are Looking For in the Successful Candidate
- Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering fire remediation or fire safety works
- NVQ Level 6 (or higher) in Construction / Site Management
- Valid SMSTS
- CSCS Black (Manager) Card
- First Aid at Work
- Industry-recognised trade background (e.g. carpentry, drylining, brickwork, fire stopping)
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to manage trades, maintain site standards, and ensure safe working practices
- Experience working on high-rise or occupied buildings
- Strong knowledge of current fire safety regulations and remediation standards
