Working on behalf of our client based on a site in Barry. We are currently recruiting for a Site Manager for a long-term fire remediation project.

Scope of Works

The project includes fire safety remediation works such as compartmentation, fire stopping, cladding remediation, and associated upgrades within occupied and non-occupied buildings.

Key Duties

  • Managing day-to-day site operations and fire remediation works
  • Supervising site teams and coordinating subcontractors
  • Overseeing fire stopping, compartmentation, cladding remediation, and upgrade works
  • Ensuring health & safety standards are met at all times
  • Coordinating with Contracts Managers, SHEQ teams, and clients
  • Maintaining project timelines and quality standards
  • Producing site reports, progress updates, and RAMS
  • Leading toolbox talks and ensuring compliance with current fire safety regulations

What We Are Looking For in the Successful Candidate

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering fire remediation or fire safety works
  • NVQ Level 6 (or higher) in Construction / Site Management
  • Valid SMSTS
  • CSCS Black (Manager) Card
  • First Aid at Work
  • Industry-recognised trade background (e.g. carpentry, drylining, brickwork, fire stopping)
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to manage trades, maintain site standards, and ensure safe working practices
  • Experience working on high-rise or occupied buildings
  • Strong knowledge of current fire safety regulations and remediation standards
