Department: Marketing

Reports to: Head of Marketing / CMO

Location: Brentford, London, On-site

Employment Type: Full-time

The Mission

We're not hiring a channel manager. We're hiring a growth owner - someone who can take our organic and paid engine from where it is today to 10X and build the team to sustain it. You'll lead a team of SEO, PPC and Social Media specialists, but you'll be judged on one thing: outcomes. Traffic that converts. Pipeline that closes. Customer Acquisition Cost that goes down while volume goes up.

What you will be responsible for:

  • 10X qualified traffic and lead volume with CAC/CPL held flat or improved
  • A high-performing, accountable team - each specialist owns a number, not just a task list
  • Compounding organic growth: rankings and organic revenue that keep climbing quarter over quarter
  • Paid media that pays for itself: predictable, scalable ROAS across Google, Meta and LinkedIn
  • A single source of truth for performance - leadership always knows what's working and why

What You'll Own:

  • Set an aggressive, realistic growth roadmap across SEO, PPC and social - and defend it with data
  • Reallocate budget and effort ruthlessly toward what's working; kill what isn't
  • Identify the 1 - 2 big bets each quarter that move the growth number, not just the activity number
  • Lead and develop a team of SEO, PPC and Social Media specialists
  • Set clear, number-based goals for each channel owner; hold the team to them
  • Build and lead a team that can scale - hire, coach, and raise the bar as the function grows

Execution Oversight:

  • Direct SEO: technical health, content strategy and authority building that compounds over time
  • Direct paid media: campaign strategy, testing velocity, and budget efficiency across platforms
  • Direct social: organic + paid social that reinforces the funnel, not a vanity-metrics side project

Reporting & Accountability:

  • Own a single growth dashboard leadership actually trusts (GA4, GSC, ad platforms, CRM)
  • Report weekly on leading indicators, monthly on outcomes - no vanity metrics
  • Turn data into decisions, not just decks

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years in digital marketing, with real ownership of SEO and paid media (not just execution - strategy and results)
  • 3+ years leading a team, with a track record of people hitting aggressive targets under your direction
  • A track record of driving step-change growth - not incremental, but multiples (2X, 5X, 10X) in a previous role
  • Strong command of Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, GA4, GSC and at least one SEO platform (Ahrefs/SEMrush)
  • Comfortable owning a P&L-style budget and defending ROI to leadership
  • Bias to action: tests things fast, kills what doesn't work, doubles down on what does

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in eCommerce, Healthcare Industry
  • Experience scaling a marketing team from a small base
  • Hands-on CRO experience (Optimizely, VWO, or similar)

What We Offer:

  • Competitive starting salary of £35,000 and post probation (6 months after) £38,000 per annum
  • Real budget and autonomy - this role isn't asking permission, it's asking for results
