We’re working with a leading consultancy delivering some of the largest Microsoft cloud transformations in the market — and they’re looking for an Azure DevOps/Platform Engineer who can design, build, and lead enterprise‑grade solutions. If you’re driven by automation, secure cloud engineering, and enabling high-performing delivery teams, this role gives you the platform to make a big impact. You’ll work hands‑on across the Microsoft stack, build modern CI/CD strategies, and act as a trusted advisor on best practice DevSecOps.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading the design, implementation, and management of Azure DevOps pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
- Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment automation.
- Collaborating with development, QA, and operations to ensure seamless delivery.
- Implementing IaC using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Optimising cloud environments for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Embedding DevSecOps and security best practices throughout delivery.
- Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to continuous improvement.
- Staying aligned with the latest trends in cloud, DevOps, and AI-driven tooling.
What you’ll bring:
- Strong hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps and Git-based workflows.
- Solid scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
- Practical CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions or GitLab Pipelines.
- Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform or Bicep.
- Good understanding of Azure services, cloud-native patterns, and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with observability tooling (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Knowledge of DevSecOps principles, security standards, and cloud governance.
