Adapro Talent Partners are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a growing, Milton Keynes based SME business who are looking to recruit a People & Culture Coordinator, on a permanent basis. As People & Culture Coordinator, you'll support the delivery of the Company's people and culture strategy while ensuring smooth daily HR operations across the business. You'll act as a first point of contact for employees and managers, support recruitment and onboarding activity, coordinate culture initiatives and provide administrative and operational HR support across the employee lifecycle. This role requires someone who is highly organised, people-focused and confident managing a variety of responsibilities in a fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • People & Culture
    • Support the delivery of the people and culture strategy
    • Help create and maintain a positive employee experience across the business
    • Plan, coordinate and implement employee engagement and culture initiatives
    • Support wellbeing, inclusion and team building activities
    • Champion company values and contribute to a strong workplace culture
    • Identify opportunities to improve employee engagement and people processes
  • Employee Relations & Manager Support
    • Act as a first point of contact for employee queries and Employee Relations matters
    • Attend meetings as a People representative, providing guidance and support
    • Support reasonable adjustments and employee wellbeing requirements
    • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee matters
    • Escalate complex Employee Relations matters where appropriate
  • Recruitment & Talent
    • Support full cycle recruitment activity across the business
    • Review applications and carry out candidate screening calls
    • Coordinate and conduct interviews alongside hiring managers
    • Create, coordinate and manage interview tasks and candidate assessments
    • Manage candidate communication and ensure a positive recruitment experience
    • Support hiring managers throughout the recruitment and selection process
    • Coordinate onboarding for new starters to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience
    • Support induction and probation processes
  • HR Administration & Operations
    • Prepare HR documentation including: Offer letters, Employment contracts, Change of terms letters, General employee correspondence
    • Maintain employee records and HR systems accurately
    • Support policy maintenance, updates and regular reviews
    • Ensure HR administration is organised, accurate and compliant
    • Support payroll administration and monthly payroll processes
    • Assist with holiday, absence and employee data management
  • Health & Safety & Compliance
    • Support Health & Safety administration and initiatives across the business
    • Help ensure compliance with employment legislation, policies and internal procedures
    • Maintain accurate people records and documentation
  • Learning & Development
    • Support Learning & Development initiatives and training coordination

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in an administrative, coordination, office support or people focused role is desirable
  • Experience supporting recruitment, HR or employee related activities is beneficial
  • Experience managing a team, desirable
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and HR systems
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
