We are hiring into our Social Team! As Social Media Executive, you will support the daily running of Instagram, Instagram Stories, and Pinterest channels whilst also supporting the wider social team. You will support the day-to-day creation, execution, and delivery of content that drives engagement and adds value to our audience. You will contribute to content ideation and storytelling, ensuring our channels are trend aware but elevated, aspirational, and brand first. This role is about uplifting our social presence and driving forward Adanola as a brand. You will play a key role in ensuring Adanola’s social channels remain best in class.
Key Responsibilities- The posting and scheduling of content across Instagram, IG Stories & Pinterest, ensuring consistent delivery of high quality, on-brand content.
- Execute the social media content calendar, aligning posts with key brand and marketing moments to maximise impact.
- Support briefing and collaboration with the creative and influencer teams to develop engaging content that reflects Adanola’s tone of voice and aesthetic.
- Monitor platform performance in real time and make proactive adjustments to optimize key metrics.
- Where relevant, respond to community across platforms, ensuring comments and mentions receive interaction when appropriate.
- Proactively suggest participation in trends and cultural moments when relevant ensuring Adanola always stays aspirational.
- Monitor platform updates, emerging social trends, and viral formats across all social channels.
- Translate trend insights into actionable content opportunities.
- Proactively pitch new content ideas that push Adanola’s content to be leaders not followers, seeing these ideas through end to end.
- Support the curation of UGC libraries, ensuring alignment with brand values whilst enhancing storytelling and boosting brand authenticity.
- Bring forward thinking, platform native ideas to planning sessions with a strong understanding of what resonates with our following and how it can be executed seamlessly.
- Capture content across shoots, events, and brand moments with a sharp eye for what resonates most with our audience.
- Track and analyse performance metrics across Instagram and Pinterest whilst also having a view across all social channels, delivering insights weekly and monthly.
- Provide ideas based on data to continuously improve content effectiveness and channel performance.
- Share platform learnings with the wider team, helping inform long term content planning as well as reactive content.
- Experience supporting the day-to-day management of Social Channels, including but not exclusive to: Instagram, Instagram Stories and Pinterest, with a solid understanding of platform best practices.
- Experience using social analytics, tracking performance and supporting weekly and monthly reporting.
- Ability to execute and maintain content calendars, ensuring consistent delivery of high quality, on-brand content aligned to key Adanola moments.
- Strong eye for content creation and storytelling, producing elevated, aspirational content with an interest in emerging formats and pushing content boundaries.
- Understanding of brand tone of voice, translating this across different platforms to speak to different audiences.
- Experience collaborating cross-departmentally.
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks while supporting the wider social team in delivering best in class channels.
- Ability to travel as needed for business purposes.
