Our highly acclaimed Finance team is growing! We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant with prior experience in accounts payable and a solid understanding of financial processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build on their existing finance experience in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Process stock and service invoices accurately and efficiently
- Respond to vendor queries in a timely and professional manner
- Set up new vendors in NetSuite, ensuring full compliance with company policies
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly
- Maintain the accounts payable mailbox and ensure queries are addressed appropriately
- Review and approve employee expense claims in accordance with company guidelines
- Assist with weekly payment runs and handle any related queries
- Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with relevant financial policies and procedures
- Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks and projects as required
Job Requirements
- Working towards a relevant finance qualification – AAT/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated interest in the accounting field, supported by a degree or diploma in finance/accounting or relevant work experience
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges
- Collaborative team player who contributes positively to the overall effectiveness of the finance team
- Takes pride in delivering high-quality and reliable work
- Experience with NetSuite is an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including key functions and formulas
