We are hiring into our Accounts Receivable team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Swiftly resolve queries received from internal teams & external contacts in a professional manner.
  • Bank reconciliations - collecting data from payment provider portals (sales, refunds and fees).
  • Formatting of data in MS Excel to import into the accounting software.
  • Reconciling sales/refunds against cash received and investigate discrepancies (invoices, deposits and refunds).
  • Make recommendations as required to develop daily processes.
  • Posting journals to the accounting software.
  • Investigating historic deferred income balances.
  • Undertake any other admin tasks as reasonably required.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Ability to use MS Office (good knowledge of Excel).
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage a demanding workload at pace whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Open, honest and adaptable to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to effectively plan and organise own workload and work to deadlines.
  • Keen to learn and want to progress in a career in accounts.
  • Be a team player and willing to contribute to the overall effectiveness of the finance team.
  • Knowledge of NetSuite and Shopify is desirable.
