Adams Morey is looking for a skilled and motivated DAFaid / Workshop HGV Technician to join our Salisbury team, with an exciting move to a brand-new site in Andover planned in the near future. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of workshop-based repairs and roadside assistance work, providing first-class support to our customers and keeping commercial vehicles operating safely and efficiently.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 4.30 pm, plus call outs when on rota, i.e. 40 hours per week, 30 minutes lunch break (unpaid) with two 15 minutes paid breaks.
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to commercial vehicles and trailers.
- Providing roadside assistance and recovery support through the DAFaid service.
- Completing inspections, MOT preparation, and preventative maintenance.
- Delivering excellent customer service both in the workshop and on-site.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician, Commercial Vehicle Technician, or Workshop Technician.
- Relevant technical qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred).
- A full UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable, but not essential).
