Are you an experienced HGV Technician looking for a new opportunity with a respected commercial vehicle dealer group? Adams Morey is looking for a skilled and motivated HGV Technician to join our Bournemouth team on a late shift pattern.
As an HGV Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing a range of commercial vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring customers' vehicles are back on the road safely and efficiently.
Salary: From £36,000 per annum plus shift allowance (Dependent on experience).
Hours: Monday to Friday 5.00 pm to 1.30 am, i.e. 40 hours per week, 30 minutes lunch break (unpaid).
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles.
- Diagnose faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
- Complete MOT preparation and inspection work.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with manufacturer and health & safety standards.
- Accurately complete job cards and service documentation.
- Work effectively as part of a professional workshop team.
Ideally, we are looking for:
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician, Truck Technician, or Commercial Vehicle Technician.
- Relevant technical qualifications (Level 3 or equivalent preferred).
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- A proactive attitude and strong attention to detail.
- Full UK driving licence (HGV licence advantageous but not essential).
