Are you an experienced HGV Technician looking for a new opportunity with a respected commercial vehicle dealer group? Adams Morey is looking for a skilled and motivated HGV Technician to join our Bournemouth team on a late shift pattern. As an HGV Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing a range of commercial vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring customers' vehicles are back on the road safely and efficiently.
Salary: From £36,000 per annum plus shift allowance (Dependent on experience).
Hours: Monday to Friday 5.00 pm to 1.30 am, i.e. 40 hours per week, 30 minutes lunch break (unpaid).
Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles.
- Diagnose faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
- Complete MOT preparation and inspection work.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with manufacturer and health safety standards.
- Accurately complete job cards and service documentation.
- Work effectively as part of a professional workshop team.
Ideally, we are looking for:
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician, Truck Technician, or Commercial Vehicle Technician.
- Relevant technical qualifications (Level 3 or equivalent preferred).
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- A proactive attitude and strong attention to detail.
- Full UK driving licence (HGV licence advantageous but not essential).
