We are looking for an organised and proactive Service Administrator to join our team in Basingstoke. This is a key role supporting the service department, ensuring jobs are scheduled efficiently, records are accurate, and customers receive a high level of service.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, i.e. 40 hours per week, 1 hour lunch break (unpaid).
Salary: £28,000 to £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling service engineers and coordinating daily workloads.
- Handling incoming calls and emails from customers and suppliers.
- Preparing job cards, service reports, and related documentation.
- Maintaining accurate service records and databases.
- Raising purchase orders and processing invoices.
- Liaising with engineers, customers, and internal departments.
- Supporting the Service Manager with general administration duties.
Ideal candidate:
- Previous experience in an administrative or service support role.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
- Customer-focused with a professional and friendly manner.
