The Role: Due to business growth, we are recruiting in our expanding firm of accountants and require a full-time Senior Accountant, part qualified or qualified, to join our brilliant team. The role will have the opportunity of progression within the firm based on performance and qualifications. Training will be given to continue studies towards a relevant accounting qualification if required. The role will be expected to progress to advise on your own bank of clients.
The applicant should have experience within a busy accountancy practice preparing accounts under FRS102, FRS102-1A and FRS105. It is unlikely that anyone with less than three to four years' relevant experience will meet the requirements of this role.
The applicant will be responsible for preparing corporation tax returns and self-assessment returns for partner review. The role will require client facing responsibilities and may also include client visits to prepare management accounts; hence a valid driver's license is essential.
