Are you passionate about shaping learning cultures, driving capability, and building future talent? We’re looking for an experienced Learning and Development Specialist to play a key role in embedding a culture of continuous learning and growth across multisite UK divisions. This is more than a training role—it’s about building capability, shaping succession, and partnering across HR and operations to future-proof our talent pipeline.
What you’ll be doing:
- Designing and delivering learning strategies that support both employee development and business objectives
- Developing engaging, inclusive learning content (manuals, e-learning, workshops, etc.)
- Owning and maintaining skills matrix, training completion logs, and rolling training forecast
- Delivering high-impact in-person and virtual training sessions
- Managing learning tech and systems to streamline delivery and tracking
- Leading on apprentice development and managing apprenticeship programmes in partnership with HR
- Evaluating the effectiveness of training and using insights to improve and evolve our programmes
- Supporting succession planning by identifying and developing internal talent
- Ensuring full compliance with training regulations and standards
- Managing the L&D budget effectively to maximise ROI
What you’ll bring:
- CIPD Level 7 qualification (preferably)
- Experience in L&D within a manufacturing or industrial blue collar workforce
- Knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design, and LMS platforms
- Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills
