We’re looking for an experienced Learning and Development Specialist to play a key role in embedding a culture of continuous learning and growth across multisite UK divisions. This is more than a training role—it’s about building capability, shaping succession, and partnering across HR and operations to future-proof our talent pipeline.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Designing and delivering learning strategies that support both employee development and business objectives
  • Developing engaging, inclusive learning content (manuals, e-learning, workshops, etc.)
  • Owning and maintaining skills matrix, training completion logs, and rolling training forecast
  • Delivering high-impact in-person and virtual training sessions
  • Managing learning tech and systems to streamline delivery and tracking
  • Leading on apprentice development and managing apprenticeship programmes in partnership with HR
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of training and using insights to improve and evolve our programmes
  • Supporting succession planning by identifying and developing internal talent
  • Ensuring full compliance with training regulations and standards
  • Managing the L&D budget effectively to maximise ROI

What you’ll bring:

  • CIPD Level 7 qualification (preferably)
  • Experience in L&D within a manufacturing or industrial blue collar workforce
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design, and LMS platforms
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills
