Head of Human Resources

Help shape a workplace where people genuinely matter.

Our client is a small, values-led organisation that believes people are its greatest strength.

Collaboration, trust and respect underpin the way they work, and they've built a culture where everyone has the opportunity to contribute, grow and make a difference.

They're now looking for a Head of Human Resources to join their Leadership Team and help shape the next stage of their journey.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants more than simply running an HR function. It's a chance to influence organisational direction, build an exceptional employee experience and ensure that people remain at the heart of every decision.

What you'll be doing

Working closely with the Chief Operating Officer and Leadership Team, you'll develop and deliver the people strategy, ensuring it supports the organisation's ambitions and values.

You'll lead on organisational development, talent attraction, succession planning, learning and development, employee engagement and wellbeing, while providing trusted advice to leaders on everything from change management to employee relations.

You'll coach and support managers to build confident, high-performing teams, continually improve the employee experience and create an environment where people feel valued, supported and able to do their very best work.

As a member of the leadership team, you'll also have the opportunity to influence strategic decisions, challenge constructively, and help shape the future direction of the organisation—not just its HR agenda. This aligns closely with the role's remit to partner with the Executive, lead organisational development, oversee talent and culture, and act as a trusted adviser across the business.

What you'll bring

You'll be an experienced HR leader who combines commercial thinking with genuine care for people.

You'll enjoy working in a collaborative environment where relationships matter and where your ideas can directly influence outcomes.

Whether your expertise lies in organisational development, culture, employee engagement or people strategy, you'll have the confidence to work with senior leaders, the credibility to influence

decisions and the practical approach to turn ideas into action.

Why join?

This is a role where you'll be trusted to lead, encouraged to challenge and given the autonomy to make a real impact.

In a smaller organisation, you'll see the difference your work makes every day. Your ideas won't disappear into layers of hierarchy; they'll shape decisions, influence culture and help create an environment where people can thrive.

If you're looking for a role where you'll have a genuine seat at the table, the opportunity to shape the future of an organisation, and the satisfaction of seeing the impact of your work first-hand, we'd love to hear from you.

This role is a permanent opportunity, and is offered on a hybrid basis, typically once a week in the office.

Equity, diversity, and inclusion are integral to everything that we do. We are committed to these values and they are central to our mission. We encourage applications from all backgrounds and communities, and we are more than happy to discuss any reasonable adjustments that you may require.
