Our client is one of the largest HGV and LCV accident repair specialists in the country and is looking for an experienced Paint Sprayer to join their established accident repair team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Paint Sprayer with HGV, LCV or commercial vehicle experience to join a large and reputable repair operation, offering a competitive hourly rate, regular bonus opportunities and paid Saturday overtime.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out high-quality paint spraying and refinishing work on HGVs, LCVs and commercial vehicles.
- Prepare vehicles and panels for painting, including masking, sanding and priming.
- Mix and match paint colours accurately to achieve a high-quality finish.
- Apply primers, basecoats and clearcoats using appropriate spraying techniques.
- Carry out preparation and finishing work to ensure vehicles meet the required standards.
- Inspect completed work and rectify any imperfections where necessary.
- Work efficiently to meet repair timescales while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Follow all relevant health & safety procedures, including correct use of PPE and air-fed equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Work closely with Panel Beaters and other members of the accident repair team to ensure vehicles are completed efficiently.
- Your Background & Skills
- Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer within an accident repair environment.
- HGV, LCV or commercial vehicle experience is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle paint preparation, application and finishing techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.
- Ability to achieve a high-quality finish while working to deadlines.
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications are advantageous, but strong practical experience will be considered.
