£35,000 - £41,000 Basic Salary (DOE) | £47,000 - £53,000+ OTE

Monday to Friday (8:00am – 5:00pm)

1 in 4 Saturdays (8:00am – 2:00pm)

Our client, a successful main dealership, is looking to recruit an experienced Diagnostic Technician, Senior Technician or Master Technician to join their busy and well-equipped workshop.

This is not a role for a standard Service Technician. The successful candidate must be confident carrying out advanced diagnostics, complex fault finding, electrical diagnosis and major mechanical repairs, alongside routine servicing and maintenance.

Salary & OTE
  • Diagnostic / Senior Technician: £35,000 - £38,000 Basic (DOE)
  • Master Technician: £41,000 Basic (Negotiable for the right candidate)
  • Realistic OTE: £47,000 - £53,000+ with a strong monthly bonus scheme
  • Experienced technicians regularly achieve £1,000+ per month in bonus, making the earning potential genuinely achievable.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Carry out advanced diagnostics and complex fault finding.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Complete servicing, maintenance and major repairs to the highest standards.
  • Use manufacturer diagnostic equipment and the latest workshop technology.
  • Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional repair requirements.
  • Work efficiently while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
  • Support Workshop Control and mentor less experienced technicians where appropriate.
  • Ensure all job cards and repair documentation are completed accurately.
Your Background & Skills
  • Level 3 NVQ in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) is essential.
  • Previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician, Senior Technician or Master Technician.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability is essential.
  • Confident carrying out complex mechanical and electrical repairs.
  • High attention to detail with excellent technical knowledge.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
