MET Technician – Approved Bodyshop

Full Time | Permanent

Β£48,000 OTE | Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm

We’re recruiting on behalf of a modern, state-of-the-art Approved Bodyshop for an experienced MET Technician (Mechanical, Electrical & Trim) to join their established accident repair team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified MET Technician who takes pride in high-quality repairs and wants to work in a professional, well-equipped environment with realistic expectations and strong earning potential.

The Role

  • Strip, assess, repair, and refit mechanical, electrical, and trim components
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults following vehicle damage
  • Remove and refit components including engines, gearboxes, suspension, and trim
  • Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer and safety standards
  • Carry out final quality checks prior to vehicle handover
  • Communicate effectively with Service and Parts teams
  • Highlight additional work, delays, or specialist repair requirements

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience as a MET Technician within a bodyshop or accident repair centre
  • NVQ Level 3 / ATA / IMI qualification (or equivalent)
  • Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Full UK Driving Licence
