Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8am – 5:30pm) / 1 in 4 Saturdays 8am - 12pm

Our client, based in Leigh-on-Sea is on the lookout for an experienced MET Technician to join their busy team. Our client is also considering Level 3 Technicians with the aim to progress into MET with full training provided. Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Accessing and removing mechanical and electrical components.
  • Preparing vehicles to a high standard.
  • Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.
  • Removing and re-installing mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Wheel alignments and suspension.
  • Responsible for accessing, repairing, stripping and refitting mechanical or electrical faults with the vehicles.
  • Removing and fitting non-structural body panels.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified (Level 3) Technician.
  • Proven experience within the motor trade as a MET Technician (3 years+).
  • Relevant MET qualifications such as Aircon, Hybrid and Electric, Chassis Technology is desired.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Ability to keep up to date with vehicle and product knowledge.
  • Organised and committed.
