We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Vehicle Service Technician to join a successful and busy dealership in the Ipswich area. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician looking to work within a professional workshop environment with strong earning potential, ongoing training and long-term career progression.

The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles to a high standard while working efficiently within a fast-paced workshop team.

The Role

  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on commercial vehicles
  • Diagnosing faults using modern diagnostic equipment
  • Completing vehicle health checks and identifying additional work where required
  • Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to manufacturer standards
  • Maintaining accurate job records and documentation
  • Working closely with workshop control and the wider aftersales team
  • Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Commercial Vehicle Technician or Service Technician
  • Level 3 qualification or equivalent preferred
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work efficiently within a busy workshop environment
  • Professional attitude with strong attention to detail
  • Full UK Driving Licence essential
