Lead a Successful Sales Team

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Car Sales Manager to join a busy and successful main dealership in the Bury St Edmunds area. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven automotive Sales Manager to take ownership of a high‑performing sales department, leading and developing a team of 4 Sales Executives while driving profitability, performance and customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate must have previous Sales Management experience within the motor trade and a strong track record of delivering results.

The Role

  • Managing and motivating a team of 4 Sales Executives
  • Driving new and used vehicle sales performance
  • Supporting the team with deal management and closing opportunities
  • Monitoring KPIs, enquiry management and conversions
  • Ensuring exceptional customer service standards are maintained
  • Managing stock performance and departmental profitability
  • Coaching and developing the sales team to maximise performance
  • Maintaining FCA compliance and dealership processes

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Sales Manager within the motor trade
  • Proven track record of achieving targets and driving team success
  • Strong leadership, coaching and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer handling ability
  • Professional, driven and commercially focused approach
  • Full UK Driving Licence essential
