Overview
ADAM Audio GmbH is seeking a Sustainability Assistant Placement. Based in High Wycombe, this is a full-time, 12-month placement with a salary of £25,100 per year (£27,100 for London-based roles). The role is hybrid, primarily based at the HQ in High Wycombe, with occasional travel to other offices and to industry events.
Responsibilities
- Support the Global Head of Sustainability and collaborate with multiple departments to embed environmental sustainability into everyday operations.
- Represent the Group at industry events and assist with the organisation and execution of sustainability-related activities.
- Contribute to sustainable product design and engineering, including lifecycle considerations and rollout of initiatives with Product, Mechanical and Electronic Design teams and Production Engineering.
- Assist with sustainability reporting, including PLC-level messaging, ESG ratings surveys, and the Carbon Disclosure Project response.
- Prepare and publish content for internal newsletters and external stakeholders.
- Analyse data and develop business intelligence reports (PowerBI) to identify decarbonisation opportunities and support the annual greenhouse gas inventory and related metrics.
Qualifications and skills
- Extremely organized with strong attention to detail; data-driven approach essential for sustainability work.
- Strong presentation, copywriting and communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- General engineering knowledge and understanding of environmental topics, especially in energy and technology sectors.
- Willingness to learn and apply knowledge to real-world sustainability challenges.
Desirable extras
- Experience with Microsoft PowerBI or similar BI tools.
- Academic knowledge of Environmental Sustainability and reporting frameworks.
- Graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Cloud).
- Hands-on experience with electronics assembly, disassembly or repair.
- Familiarity with SQL, M-Language or similar programming languages.
- First-hand knowledge of Focusrite or competitor products.
