We are seeking friendly and passionate art teachers to run our after school art clubs across London to enhance the educational experience of children as well as boost confidence.
Job Description
Our Locations: Hampstead, Cockfosters, Southgate, Hendon, Hertfordshire, Radlett, Sydenham, Chalfont, Windsor
Ranges from £40-£70 per club depending on time and student intake
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS (already possess one)
- Previous experience working with children, especially those with special educational needs, is highly desirable.
- Art portfolio is a bonus
Duties
- Teach various art forms including drawing, painting, sculpture.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
- Maintain an inventory of art supplies and manage classroom resources effectively.
- Stay updated on current trends in art education and incorporate relevant techniques into teaching.
Experience
- A degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous teaching experience in an educational setting is advantageous
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively.
