Are you passionate about nurturing Christian vocation and shaping the future leadership of the Church of England?

We are seeking an inspiring Head of Vocations and Discernment to lead the national renewal of ministerial vocations across the Church of England.

Leading a team of 15 and working closely with all 42 dioceses, you will help grow and strengthen the pipeline of lay and ordained ministers, oversee the Shared Discernment Process, and build confidence among key stakeholders including bishops and diocesan leaders.

This is a strategic leadership role requiring a collaborative and prayerful leader with substantial Church of England ministry experience, a strong understanding of vocations and discernment, and a proven track record of leading change.

You will champion inclusive and diverse vocations, oversee budgets and governance responsibilities, and represent the Church nationally on matters of vocation and discernment.

As a committed communicant member of the Church of England, you will bring deep personal faith, a disciplined prayer life, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to inspire others in responding to God's call.
