Risk and Compliance Manager 12 month FTC Location: Edinburgh, Hybrid role, 2 days a week in the office Our client is seeking an experienced Risk & Compliance Manager to join their team. The company is small with ambition to grow and there are so many compelling reasons to join them including the breadth of this role, the flat structure with regular exposure up to board level, and the opportunity to work very closely with the experienced teams the business has dealing with pension administration, investment management, and retirement planning. The preferred background is risk experience gained within investment management and it\’s essential that you have a strong understanding of the regulatory environment in which the company operates. This hybrid 2LOD role will involve development, embedding and facilitation of an appropriate and robust risk management and assurance framework and ensure appropriate oversight activities are undertaken to provide assurance on compliance with regulatory, client and internal requirements. The candidate will work closely with other members of the R&C team and will collaborate with colleagues across the business. Experience we are looking for includes: 5+ years of experience in a compliance or risk function within an FCA-regulated business, preferably in asset management. Proven ability to collaborate effectively, support strategic goals, and continuously improve processes. This role is ideal for an adaptable individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to upholding the highest standards of risk management and compliance.
