We’re looking for an experienced SQL Developer to join a fast-moving data team on a 6-month contract. This is a fully remote role, working on the design and delivery of scalable, high-performance reporting solutions within a modern cloud data platform.
A key focus of this role is migrating existing SQL Server stored procedures into BigQuery, so hands-on BigQuery experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and build robust reporting solutions using SQL Server
- Develop, optimise, and maintain complex T-SQL queries and stored procedures
- Lead the migration of SQL Server stored procedures into BigQuery
- Ensure data accuracy, scalability, and performance across reporting outputs
- Work closely with data engineers and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Strong, hands-on experience with T-SQL and SQL Server
- Strong, practical experience with Google BigQuery (this is essential for the role)
- Experience migrating or working within cloud data platforms
- Strong SQL performance tuning and query optimisation skills
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote, contract environment
