About Adalent
Adalent is an executive search and talent strategy firm, specialising in senior and C-suite hiring across technology, digital, data & AI, and cyber security. Founded in 2022, our specialism is our edge: a deep understanding of the technology leadership landscape is why clients trust us with their most important appointments. We've built a deep, trusted network and work with clients internationally, with recent placements across the UK, US, Switzerland and Canada.
We're a specialist boutique that successfully competes with the larger, more established players, delivering on some of the world's most challenging leadership hiring. We do executive search differently: forward-thinking, rigorous and genuinely consultative, using data and AI-enabled processes to work smarter than the traditional model. It's an early-stage environment where the work is real from day one and where the people who join help shape the direction of the firm.
The opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Consultant, with 5+ years in executive search, to help deliver our ongoing search mandates to a high standard. The immediate priority is delivery: running high-quality search processes end to end alongside our Principals and Managing Director, with exposure to the whole team, while representing Adalent with confidence in front of senior, high-profile clients. This is also a role with real room to grow. As an early-stage firm, there's genuine scope to shape your career into what you want it to be over time, but the focus from day one is contributing to the work in front of us.
What you'll do
- Identify, research and map talent across live executive search assignments
- Proactively engage senior candidates, introducing opportunities and assessing suitability, motivation and interest
- Partner with our Principals and Managing Director to ensure the calibre and profile of candidates align with each client's brief
- Participate in and contribute to client meetings and discussions with credibility
- Produce high-quality candidate documentation, reports and market insights
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of our search database (Clockwork)
- Bring fresh thinking to how we search, challenging the status quo and helping us improve how we work
Typical Mandates Include
- CTO, CIO, CISO, CDO, CDAIO
- Head of AI, Head of Engineering, Head of Infrastructure, Head of Cloud
What we're looking for
- 5+ years' experience in executive search, within technology, data & AI, cyber and/or digital, across any sector or industry (essential)
- A proven track record of delivering senior search mandates
- The confidence and gravitas to build trust with senior stakeholders
- A collaborative operator who thrives in a close-knit, high-performing team
- Someone who likes to question, challenge and think beyond the obvious, rather than follow a fixed playbook
- A forward-thinking, entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable with the pace and ambiguity of a start-up
- Comfortable with, and keen to take up, opportunities to travel internationally
- High standards of professionalism, communication and attention to detail
What we offer
- A genuinely differentiated compensation model, designed to foster strong collaboration, client satisfaction and high performance, plus long-term growth
- 25 days' holiday, plus an additional day for each year of service (up to 30 days)
- Two weeks' work-from-anywhere (after probation)
- One month fully paid sabbatical after five years
- Monthly wellness allowance and private health insurance (after probation)
- The opportunity to travel, working with clients across international markets
- Company offsites, end-of-quarter celebrations, and regular development and training
- A genuine seat at the table in a growing firm, where your ideas count and you can help shape its direction
