To deliver an exceptional breakfast experience by ensuring that the breakfast area is welcoming, clean, well-presented and fully stocked at all times. The Breakfast Ambassador is responsible for providing outstanding guest service while maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome guests in a warm, friendly and professional manner.
- Ensure every guest receives excellent customer service throughout breakfast.
- Answer guests' questions regarding breakfast items, allergens and hotel facilities.
- Anticipate guests' needs and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Promote a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
- Prepare and present the breakfast buffet in accordance with Adagio brand standards.
- Ensure hot and cold food items are replenished throughout service.
- Prepare hot breakfast items where required.
- Monitor food quality, freshness and presentation at all times.
- Ensure beverages, coffee machines and juice dispensers remain fully stocked and operational.
- Follow all Food Safety, HACCP and Health & Safety procedures. Carry out and record food temperature checks.
- Ensure correct storage, rotation and labelling of food (FIFO).
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness within the breakfast area, kitchen and storage rooms.
- Report any food safety concerns immediately.
- Check stock levels daily.
- Receive deliveries and ensure products are stored correctly.
- Report shortages or damaged items to the manager.
- Minimise food waste through effective stock rotation and portion control.
- Work closely with Reception, Housekeeping and Maintenance to ensure an excellent guest experience.
- Support colleagues during busy periods.
- Attend departmental meetings and training sessions.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties requested by management.
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is desirable.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Positive attitude and friendly personality.
- Candidates must be guest-oriented and service-minded.
- Previous F&B / Hotel experience is a plus.
