The Senior Exposure Management Analyst will be assisting in the building and developing the exposure management function, providing exposure insights to the business.

They will work closely with the Chief Pricing Officer and wider underwriting teams to run the day to day exposure management function.

This is a newly created role and an excellent opportunity for an exposure management analyst looking to take a more senior position.

This is a unique opportunity to join an empowering and inspiring business at an exciting time as it grows from a fledgling Syndicate to a full Managing Agency and to apply your skills and knowledge to make within it.

Key Responsibilities of the Role

  • Assist in the development of Ad A's view of catastrophe risk (natural catastrophe and non-natural catastrophe) across all lines of business
  • Compile regular management information reporting relating to exposure management
  • Monitor adherence to risk appetite and aggregate thresholds
  • Assist in the Lloyd’s reporting requirements related to exposure management
  • Work closely to the underwriting teams, providing insight and responding to queries
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Assist in the business planning process across the Syndicate
  • Participate in ongoing projects across the organisation
  • Review, validate and interpret modelled results from catastrophe models
  • Provide ad-hoc support such as catastrophe event response, reinsurance purchasing support and regulatory reporting as required

  • Required Experience, Skills & Knowledge
  • Good catastrophe and exposure management experience within the Lloyd's or London market, preferably with marine, energy or specialty lines exposure
  • Experience of working within or alongside Lloyd's regulatory and reporting frameworks
  • Strong experience with SQL; proficiency with R/Python preferred
  • Highly analytical
  • Ability to translate and communicate business priorities and key results to a wide range of
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Experience with Verisk AIR beneficial but not required
