Ada Meher is partnering with a Software Vendor in the Rates Management technology space, as they seek to recruit an experienced .NET Developer to help them progress their SaaS product through a modernisation from an on-premise monolith platform to Azure based containers/microservice architecture. The successful candidate will be working in a hands-on capacity as well as leading a small squad of developers through their sprints, so you should be familiar with facilitating Scrum ceremonies.
The business operates on a hybrid model, with the team working remotely for most of the week and coming in to collaborate with the team 2 days per week in their City Centre offices on Deansgate, so candidates should be based locally to Manchester. This same flexibility is found in the way they manage working hours, preferring to focus on productivity over time-at-desk, so it’s a perfect role for keeping up with life commitments around work.
To Be Considered:
- Excellent experience with .NET 8 / .NET Core / ASP.NET MVC
- Experience leading a small team in a Scrum environment
- Strong experience with Typescript or JavaScript
- Experience with CI/CD or Azure DevOps
- Any experience using Azure Portal would be a benefit but not necessary
Other technologies used in the stack include Typescript on the frontend as well as MSSQL with Dapper ORM & Azure Portal for monitoring. However, rather than a perfect tech stack match, the company are looking for strong Software Engineering skills at a principle level, so given the time candidates would be able to pick these technologies up quickly as well as contribute to the continuous improvement of the software. As such please apply with confidence if you lack one or two of these skills.
We are anticipating a strong response to this Senior .NET Developer role, so please get in contact today for more information or send a CV to matthew.coney@adameher.com.
