Ada Meher is currently working with a scaling digital agency as they look to recruit a Lead Mobile Developer to work with their small team on the development of a number of their exciting client projects across both Android and iOS. The successful applicant can expect to lead a small team (1 x Android & 1 x iOS Developer) as well as working on both greenfield development and BAU development projects using Android and surrounding tech such as Kotlin & Jetpack Compose. The iOS platform they work on is Swift/SwiftUI based with Xcode and any knowledge in this area would also be a benefit.
This role would suit someone who is self-driven and ambitious enough to work independently as well as take advantage of the resources and expertise made available to them internally to aid their personal development. This is a real focus for the client and every member of staff has their own personal development plan and with this role there will be a clearly defined career development pathway.
Due to this self-started culture, the business works with flexibility at its core and is happy to allow the team to work remotely, though you’ll need to be based in the UK. They also offer flexibility in hours and holiday days, to ensure that employees are able to make the job work around their other life commitments.
To Be Considered…
- Strong experience in Android Mobile App Development (Jetpack Compose / Kotlin)
- Experience working across multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with a small team on mentoring, code reviews and project planning
- Experience with Dependency Injections
- Experience with Unit Testing / TDD
- Any experience/knowledge around iOS (Swift) would be a benefit
As mentioned, due to their commitment to continuous improvement, each employee in this business has a tailored personal development plan to help inspire their progression and growth within their role. As such, if you feel you tick most of the boxes required, with the exception of a key development area, please feel confident in making an application.
