Ada Meher are currently partnered with a leading SaaS company in the BIM space, helping tier one construction companies globally use technology to increase efficiency and accuracy in asset information management & digital delivery of large-scale projects. They are looking for a Junior BIM Consultant, with prior experience in common data environments (CDE) and industry standard compliance frameworks (ISO 19650), to support their Senior BIM Consultants in project compliance. This is a great opportunity for someone at the start of their journey in BIM technology to work with some of the brightest minds in the industry focusing on model configuration and information compliance across multiple large-scale projects.
The ideal candidate will have come from an AEC industry background and have experience working with Architectural, Structural or MEP modelling and relevant technologies such as Revit and Navisworks, as well as some good data management & ISO 19650 knowledge. You will be responsible for taking the BIM requirements created by more senior BIM Consultants and inputting these into the CDE in industry standard format (IFC/COBie).
The business has always operated with a remote-first model, as they prefer to manage their staff with both autonomy and accountability against defined objectives, as such candidates can be based anywhere in the UK but must have the full right to work. Also, due to the nature of some of the projects, candidates may be required to undergo SC vetting and as such need a minimum of 5 years residency in the UK.
To Be Considered:
- Experience working in either Architecture or MEP based projects
- Experience working with industry standard modelling technologies such as Autodesk Revit and Navisworks
- Experience working with Common Data Environments (CDE) such as ACC or BIM360
- Excellent knowledge of standards such as ISO 19650
- Experience with COBie/IFC data management would be ideal but not 100% necessary
The company in question is highly regarded not only in the solutions they provide their clients but the working environment they create with many fantastic perks such as a bonus scheme, generous leave allowance, early finish Fridays, annual away days and a private healthcare scheme. They offer a competitive salary and have a great workplace pension.
This role is attracting a high volume of applicants so be sure to get into contact ASAP to avoid missing out on this opportunity. Please send a CV in confidence for more info.
