Job Description

Data & Software Engineer – AI Start Up – Remote UK – Up to £90,000Ada Meher are partnered with a forward-thinking start-up within the deals space, who are heavily backed by large companies within the sector. Their objective is to streamline processes for dealmakers to identify targets, cultivate valuable relationships and ultimately secure more deals. They are utilising AI in various aspects of their business and are looking for an adaptable data/software engineer to join their team and continue to assist with their AI journey.This role is open remotely across the UK for applicants who hold the full right to work in the UK. There are offices based in London and Leeds for occasional face-to-face contact with colleagues.ResponsibilitiesData Engineering:
  • Design and maintain ETL pipelines
  • Integrate data from internal and external sources
  • PostgreSQL queries and schemas
  • Support AI/LLM features
  • Optimise storage and query performance

Software:

  • Coding with Python
  • Back-end systems and API integrations
  • Developing RESTful API's
  • Utilise agile methodology

Requirements

  • Strong skills with relational and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB
  • Strong Python development experience with emphasis on back-end work
  • Solid experience with REST API principles, versioning and schema-driven development
  • Exposure to ETL pipelines and analytics tools
  • Exposure with AI/LLMs and vector stores
  • You must be a team player and collaborator
