A Business Development Representative (BDR) is needed for a scaling SaaS business in the Construction industry. The company is building out a BDR team to service their established Sales teams with qualified leads. They have an excellent presence in the industry, with projects signed with most major contractors, and are looking for BDRs to generate additional projects within these businesses.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced sales environment, whether that be from recruitment or previous software sales, and be able to demonstrate a track record of generating leads through LinkedIn, Phone Calls, Emails, and other channels. The OTE bonus of £10,000 will be based on targets related to project pitches/qualified leads generated, and successful candidates will have the opportunity to progress into a closing role longer term.

As a remote-friendly business, the sales team currently works hybrid remote, spending 2 days per week in the Chelmsford office with the flexibility to work the rest of the time remotely. Candidates should be located within a commutable distance of Chelmsford.

To Be Considered:

  • 2+ years of experience in a relevant sales role
  • Experience of working within either the Software or Construction sector
  • Demonstrable experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Driven and hard-working – happy working to targets
