At Another, they are currently looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join a fast-paced established business on a part time basis. Based in North Yorkshire and reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for supporting a broad range of HR generalist activities whilst driving the HR agenda alongside the wider HR team. This is an exciting role, working within a fast-paced environment.

The Role

  • Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees across all regions on all HR policies, practices and procedures.
  • Ensure employee absenteeism is monitored and reported monthly, and any issues are dealt with at the earliest opportunity.
  • Maintain employee records via the HRIS system.
  • Coaching and developing manager in their own capability of managing people issues.
  • Supporting the recruitment process as and when required.
  • Work with managers and stakeholders to provide advice and support with all people related issues – including supporting disciplinary, absence, grievance and redundancy meetings etc.
  • Supporting the Head of HR and the wider HR team in the delivery of the people plan and working on HR projects appropriately.
  • Provide a high-quality service and act as a trusted HR Advisor whilst building credible stakeholder relationships.
  • Proactively analyse HR data and identify improvement initiatives.

Skills required

  • Ideally CIPD level 5 qualified or working towards.
  • Proven experience of working as a HR Advisor.
  • Strong knowledge and application of UK employment law.
  • Strong experience of building relationships and managing stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate and engage with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to use own initiative and good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong IT skills – MS Office, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Accurate and timely delivery of tasks coupled with excellent organisational skills.
