The company are a renewable energy installer that specialises in Solar PV and Battery Storage. Due to continuing growth, they are actively seeking a time served, fully qualified electrician with City and Guilds parts 1 & 2 and experience in the above systems.
The Role
This is a hands-on, varied position where you will be involved in both installation and maintenance of renewable energy systems. You’ll work across domestic and commercial projects, contributing to the transition to sustainable energy.
Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- To Install Solar PV & Battery Storage systems on domestic & commercial projects.
- Electrical Service, Maintenance, Assessment and Repair of Solar PV, Battery Storage.
- To Install Domestic EV Charging Stations.
Experience & Knowledge
- Minimum 3 years’ electrical experience.
- Experience with renewable energy systems is desirable but not essential.
- Strong understanding of current electrical and building regulations.
Essential Qualification and Skills
- ECS Gold Card (or equivalent).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving skills with sound judgement on when to escalate issues.
